Glossary term
Agency Split
The percentage of revenue an agency takes from a creator (typically 30-50%).
What it means in detail
Agency split is the percentage of revenue an agency takes from a creator after the platform fee. Most agencies take 30-50%; top-tier agencies justify 50%+ with proven 2-3× revenue lift. A 40% agency on a creator earning $10K/mo gross means the creator nets $4,800 (after 20% platform + 40% of remaining $8K).
Examples
- 40/60 split: agency 40%, creator 60%
- $10K gross → creator $4,800 with 40% agency
